About Terra Pulse

Terra Pulse – The Greenheart Collective was a multidisciplinary cultural community arts program funded by the City of Toronto’s Cultural Hotspot SPARK stream delivered in Jane and Finch between June and November 2025.

This program was led by Terra Elysium Foundation, which consisted of seven free, in-person workshops hosted in accessible community spaces and open to residents of all ages, with a strong focus on youth participation.

Impact & Reach

Community Participation

The Terra Pulse Program brought out more than 200 participants with more than 140 of the participants being youth.

Creative Output

Participants produced a wide range of artistic works across the program, including:

• Over 50 paintings, more than 15 drawings, and over 15 eco-art collages
• 3 collaborative textile and paint artworks
• Over 6 tote bags made and designed from scrap fabric!
• More than 35 original mini clay sculptures
• One original song and one spoken-word
• Approximately 25 minutes of a short film
• Over 15 future-vision postcards imagining community change
  

Community Skill-Building

Through hands-on workshops, participants developed skills in visual arts, storytelling, film, and collaborative creation, with a strong emphasis on youth leadership and expression.

Community Partnerships

The program resulted in the formation of over eight new community partnerships, strengthening Terra Elysium’s relationships within the Jane and Finch community and supporting long-term collaboration.

While this program marks an important milestone, our work in Jane and Finch is not complete. Terra Elysium remains committed to returning, deepening partnerships, and continuing to support the critical and inspiring work already happening within the community.
