Erika Alajar is a strategic community lead with a track record of merging education with arts-based programming. She is an expert at amplifying community impact through cross-sector partnerships, digital engagement, and administrative precision.

As a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Urban Sustainability, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the crucial link between supporting programs to foster our community. This understanding is not just academic; it’s a conviction that has driven her engagement in practical ways. Erika has committed to using environmental education to address climate injustices and has held previous positions at the Royal Ontario Museum, Evergreen Brick Works, Tree Track Intelligence, and LEAF.

Currently, Erika is working in healthcare administration and collaborating with healthcare professionals in coordinating patient care and administrative duties in order for physicians to focus on providing quality healthcare to patients.

Born and raised in Toronto, Erika aims to support local voices through visual arts, film, and photography as a medium for storytelling to amplify the diverse cultures that make this city unique.
