ABOUT

Erika Alajar has a BA in Environment and Urban Sustainability from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). She is passionate about plants, animals, environmental conservation, and aims to live sustainably by contributing to a circular economy. Erika has dedicated her time volunteering towards environmental justice initiatives through community outreach programs.

Erika has previously been awarded a Young Ravine Leader Certificate from Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forest, a Sustainability Ambassador Badge issued by Toronto Metropolitan University, and has experience as the Vice President of Marketing at Regenesis Canada.

Erika is currently an entrepreneur focused on creating sustainable candles at Maarte Pabebe, where she regularly participates in artisan and farmers’ markets across Toronto.
