ABOUT

Matthew Carranza is the JEDI Committee Chair at Terra Elysium Foundation and an equity-centred youth and community leader with a background in justice studies, community and justice services, and human resources management. He has worked alongside youth and equity-deserving communities across the GTA for several years, supporting culturally responsive, trauma-informed initiatives connected to education, housing stability, mental health, and community engagement.

Matthew brings a governance-minded approach to embedding justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility into organizational systems: supporting inclusive recruitment and onboarding practices, accessible communications, and policy and program review that strengthen belonging and meaningful participation.
