ABOUT
David Cardenas Ochoa serves as a Board Member and Youth & Community Engagement Chair at Terra Elysium Foundation. He holds a Master’s in Spatial Analysis and a Bachelor’s in Geographic Analysis from Toronto Metropolitan University, where his work focused on GIS, spatial analytics, and applied mapping systems.
David currently works in aerial geospatial data acquisition, supporting high-precision mapping and remote sensing operations. In his role as an Aerial Camera Operator and Mapping Technologist, he oversees airborne imaging systems, ensures data integrity, and contributes to the development of authoritative geospatial datasets used for infrastructure planning, environmental analysis, and land management.
At Terra Elysium, David leads youth engagement strategy and organizational development initiatives, applying a systems-based and data-informed approach to strengthen community impact. He is passionate about empowering young leaders and advancing resilient, sustainable communities through innovation and collaborative leadership.
