ABOUT

Cassandra John is the Programs & Projects Committee Chair at the Terra Elysium Foundation and an accomplished partnerships professional with an interdisciplinary background spanning the nonprofit, arts and culture, public relations, branding, marketing, and tech sectors. With over a decade of experience supporting executive leadership, she has led strategic initiatives in stakeholder engagement, program design, communications, and organizational growth.

In her current role at Surrey Place, she leads partnership development in support of the organization’s fundraising strategy, helping expand access for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to inclusive programming, activities, and events across the city. Cassandra also serves on the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Advisory Group (2024–2025), contributing to city-wide efforts focused on community resilience and social equity. She brings a systems-thinking lens and a deep commitment to empowering underserved communities through impactful, community-led programming.
